Join us for a lovely horseback ride in a wild and beautiful mountain valley — right next to Breheimen National Park. The tour starts at our farm at the entrance to beautiful Lundadalen, and continues along an old seeder road. We ride towards the waterfall Moldule, and continue inland along a river coloured turquoise by meltwater from Breheimen. Eventually we arrive at an old hunting lodge where we turn and ride the same way back.
After the ride, you can buy and enjoy a delicious lunch in the restaurant on the farm (Italian pizza or good sandwiches).

- Age limit 12 years, but with very good experience one can ride like 11 years old, but remember that you ride in a common group and we try a gallop and other gaits, you can not return

Fjelleventyret is an activity company in Skjåk that offers horseback riding tours, guided mountain tours and hunting packages. We stop at the entrance to idyllic Lundadalen, a valley of seats located in the heart of Breheimen National Park.
Horse riding tours for the whole family
Spring, summer and autumn we offer horseback riding tours for the whole family. In the course of a few eventful morning hours, you can experience a spectacular horseback ride in beautiful scenery.
You can also join one of our popular day trips by horse, where lunch and bonfire with real bonfire cooked coffee from a black kettle are included.
Guided peak tours
Lundadalen is an excellent starting point for mountain and summit hikes in both summer and winter.
Down in the valley, the DNT trail runs to Trulsbu and Lundadalsvatnet, encircled by some of the highest mountains in the area, with Hestbrepiggen at 2,172 m being the highest.
Maybe you want to join us to the top of Hestprepiggen, or one of the other mountain peaks in the areas? We will gladly guide you safely to the top!
In winter, the area is an eldorado for randonnee, among others. Our experienced guides have grown up in the area and will be happy to show you the best areas for a great ski trip — whether you are an experienced skier who wants to go on rough ski hikes, or if you want to go for a more family-friendly ski trip on randonee or mountain skis.
Hunting and Fishing
In Lundadalen there are great hunting and fishing opportunities. You can apply for a hunting license for wild reindeer, or buy a grouse license from Skjåk Almenning.
The river Skøli flows cascading past our setra on its way from Lundadalsvatnet. Here you are guaranteed mountain trout.
You can choose whether you want to use us as a base for your own tours, or if you want to book a full package where everything from accommodation, food, firewood and guiding is included.
